oh-no-not-again.jpg-1It’s the Patriots and Rams in the Super Bowl and let’s just say that Josh is not happy about it. They guys discuss all the action from the conference championship games including the overtime rules, horrible officiating and non-stop instant replays.  In college basketball it was a busy and exciting week for the Duke Blue Devils. Meanwhile Skip has lifted the ban on discussing the NBA mainly to point out the historic run that James Harden is on. Josh has a few NHL notes and Skip is pissed at the guys from PTI. maxresdefaultRecorded September 1, 2018. The guys are joined by friend of the show Neil Schnurbach (@AssemblyNeil) to preview the upcoming NFL season. Are the Bears suddenly a playoff team with the acquisition of Khalil Mack? Can the Browns win a game or even become somewhat relevant? How dynamic can the Chiefs offense be? Which rookie quarterbacks can make an impact this season and which second year QBs can become stars? Will any of last years playoff teams struggle this year? Which up and coming teams are ready to become contenders? Does Jimmy G. have what it takes to lead the 49ers? Can the Patriots make it back to the Super Bowl (again)? Do the Eagles have what it takes to repeat? Of course there are some predictions, a discussion about some of the major rule changes and of course Neil brings some fancy stats like DVOA and Pythagorean wins.
