It’s the Patriots and Rams in the Super Bowl and let’s just say that Josh is not happy about it. They guys discuss all the action from the conference championship games including the overtime rules, horrible officiating and non-stop instant replays. In college basketball it was a busy and exciting week for the Duke Blue Devils. Meanwhile Skip has lifted the ban on discussing the NBA mainly to point out the historic run that James Harden is on. In baseball there have already been some big signings and a big trade. In the NHL the Flyers are hoping a coaching change can save their season and Carey Price reached a milestone. The guys also discuss the recent buzz about a possible return of baseball to Montreal.

The Steelers are a big mess, Pat Mahomes is the real deal, the Eagles lose to Ryan Fitzpatrick’s Bucs and the Jags took apart the Pats. What’s wrong with the Giants and will any Browns or Vikings kicker ever make a field goal? The new tackling rule reared its ugly head and Josh is wondering if Dez Bryant will ever sign with anyone. Meanwhile the NHL pre-season has started (25:45) with very different expectations this season for the Habs and Leafs. Erik Karlsson was finally traded. How will his move to the Sharks affect the balance of power in the West and how bleak is the situation for the Senators franchise?
