In the NFL the Packers title hopes came to a sudden end with the devastating injury to Aaron Rodgers. Recorded Sep 26, 2017. In this episode Skip and Josh recap week three of the NFL season. Skip starts the show by explaining why the guys will not discuss anything related to anthems, taking a knee or politics in general. It was a bad week for the favorites and the NFL finally surprised everyone with some shocking results. The Eagles needed a miracle to beat the Giants despite all their injuries. The Falcons and Chiefs are the lone undefeated teams left, can they both win next week? The Lions got hosed, big time! The Bears, Bills, and Jaguars all pulled off big upsets while the Browns, 49ers and Bengals continue to find ways to lose. Skip has already given out the fantasy football MVP award while Cub is still wondering what the difference is between power rankings and standings. There’s a bit of NHL talk and the guys answer some listener mail.
Recorded Jan 15, 2017 at 11:45 PM immediately after the NFL divisional playoff games ended. Skip and Josh recap the week end of NFL playoff games: icing the kicker, never ending penalties, Skip’s man-crush on Aaron Rodgers, how a safety means you automatically win the game and predictions for the next round. The guys also discuss the Pro-Bowl and the useless extra week before the Super Bowl and wonder if Canadian viewers will ever see the real commercials during the big game. Josh also lets us know how he feels about the Hab’s Andrew Shaw while Skip is not so impressed with the food at the NCAA Football-Texas hold’em party that Josh recently attended.
