Duke will be coming to Montreal and Toronto this summer which reminds Skip to open the mailbag (8:01). Josh is not feeling great about the way the Stanley Cup Finals are going (9:03). Are the Golden Knights finally starting to feel the pressure? Also Brian Colangelo, Serena Williams’ cat suit (24:34), the CFL on ESPN plus Skip’s soccer minute (30:52).
Recorded May 27, 2018. Skip and Josh start the show by discussing the drama in the NBA playoffs (2:09), Lebron’s greatness and why some teams just can’t win on the road. In the NHL (12:47), why have we had to wait so long for the finals to start? Is it really bad luck to touch the conference championship trophy? Cub is all in on Vegas while Skip is pulling for the Caps. The biggest story in sports this week was the NFL’s new penalty for kneeling during the national anthem (22:24) which caused the shows twitter feed to explode. The guys also have some recommendations (36:24) for podcasts, notebooks and pants.

Skip has some theories on some of the factors contributing to their success while Josh makes it clear that he has no respect for the majority of NHL GMs. How will Vegas stack up against the Lighting or Capitals? Skip doesn’t believe a team coached by Mike D’Antoni can win it all and that the Celtics-Cavs series is destined to go seven games.
